**Family Photography the Documentary Way**

Documentary photography requires absolutely no sense of performance. Children can leap and roll and laugh and cry in any way they like. There is no requirement for them to be calm, posed or still for our photo session. Children move through their homes and the outdoors with a unique grace that I adore and will capture this in our time together. Sessions take place wherever you are at your happiest, whether that’s in the comfort of your home, on an adventure in the woods, at the beach, or somewhere that holds special meaning to your family.

**Capturing the art of living**

I adore the details of daily life with children and combining these with my love of light, I tell the stories of your everyday moments that become memories through photography. Everyone needs to be seen, heard and understood. Photography is my way of saying, “I see you. I understand the things that are important to you. Let me capture how beautiful your lives are.”

HALF DAY SESSION

3-4 hours of documentary photography

session fee: £220*

This session gives us plenty of time to capture life at home as well as a trip out to one of your favourite places. Whether you’d like the character of family breakfasts captured, or time spent doing the things you love, we have the flexibility to photograph all this during a half day session. These sessions typically take place in the morning when everyone has plenty of energy.

*Session fee covers my time for pre-session consultation, travel, editing time, purchasing session & photo album design. Framed prints, heirloom albums and digital prints are sold separately.

SLICE OF LIFE

1-2 hours of documentary photography

session fee: £150*

This session is ideal if you would like photos of a family outing, or for families with a newborn baby. As a mother, I fully appreciate the exhaustion that accompanies this special season of life, which is why I keep these sessions shorter. I will capture life as it unfolds and there is no need for your baby to be asleep for the duration of the session, or for you to tidy the house before I arrive!
